Thank you for using the Christian PrayerBookApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our App or interact with our community. The App is provided by the Christian PrayerBookApp Team at no cost and is intended for use as is.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We collect Personal Information to provide and improve the Service and will not share it except as outlined here.

The App can be used without registration, except for community features, which require signing up via Firebase using your Gmail or phone number. Registered users can post prayers and engage with the community.
Registered users provide personal information like name, email, and phone number to create and maintain accounts. This enables access to community features.
We may collect additional identifiable information, stored on your device and our backend server, to enhance your experience.

We share your information only with third parties like Firebase for registration and analytics, or with authorities if legally required.
Our website lets you browse prayers and the feast calendar without an account. It reads public prayer and feast content from our Firebase database and stores small items in your browser (such as your language, light/dark theme and a cached copy of the prayers list) to make the site faster. Google Analytics and Google Ads tags measure visits and the effectiveness of our advertising, and may set cookies; you can accept or decline them in the cookie banner or your browser settings.
When you use "Generate a prayer" or "Get a verse", the text you type (for example, an intention or a feeling) is sent to our servers and to Google's Gemini AI service to create a response. Please do not enter names, contact details or other sensitive personal information. To prevent abuse we apply a daily usage limit using a one-way hashed form of your IP address, which cannot be used to identify you. We do not use these inputs to build a profile of you. AI responses may be imperfect; see our Terms.
Prayer requests, posts, votes and comments you submit in the community are visible to other users and may show your display name. Do not share sensitive information in public posts. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging with a device token to send prayer reminders, feast-day and community updates. You can turn notifications off in your device settings. We also receive crash reports and basic device information (model, OS version, app version) through Firebase Crashlytics.
You can request deletion of your account and the personal data linked to it (name, email/phone, community posts and activity) by emailing contact@prayerbookapp.com from the address or phone number you registered with. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. Some anonymous or aggregated statistics may be retained.
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined here, securely deleting or anonymizing it when no longer needed.
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information. Contact us at contact@prayerbookapp.com to exercise these rights.
Your information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws, with safeguards like standard contractual clauses in place.
The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but you can manage privacy settings within the App or contact us.
We do not use automated decision-making that significantly affects you, except for personalized features with your consent.
We use encryption and secure protocols to protect your information, though no method is completely secure.
In case of errors, we collect Log Data (e.g., IP address, device details, usage stats) via third-party tools to improve the Service.
